LISTENING
_
album Gotye - Somebody That I Used to Know
Pretty much have this on repeat.
album Ray Lamontagne & the Pariah Dogs - God Willin' & The Creek Don't Rise
I'm glad this man quit his job at the show factory to pursue music.
album Explosions in the Sky - Take Care (x3)
Sometimes I like to leave the lyrics at the door.
album Sufjan Stevens - The Age of Adz
This guy is full of surprises. Good ones.
album Owen Pallett - Heartland
Layered, bright and soft. Perfect for the season.
album Zac Brown Band - You Get What You Give
This has taken the torch from LCD Soundsystem. It's scary how much I adore this album.
album Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Aside from that jokey bit by Chris Rock, I really dig this from start to finish.
album Bon Iver - Bon Iver
I'm trying not to be swayed by all the reviews and dig in to Justin Vernon's latest on my own terms.

PLAYING
_
game Zelda Skyward Sword
They've made the motion controls more interesting this time around. Enjoyable winter adventure gaming. (Wii)
game The Last Rocket
A perfect portable game. Retro flair is a bonus. (iOS)
game Outland
My favorite genre: side-scrolling platformer. This one's by Ubisoft and I've loved many of their games in the past. This one joins the list. (PS3)
game Portal 2
Not quite the first, but a fun ride nonetheless. (XBOX/PS3)
game Just Dance 2
And I look absolutely ridiculous playing it. (Wii)
game Donkey Kong Country Returns
I didn't love this at first, but it has grown on me to be a top-notch platformer with excellent playability (Wii)
game Limbo
If you like platformers and have an Xbox, get this game. I believe it is going into my top 20 games of all time list. (XBOX/PS3)
game Super Mario Galaxy 2
Beat it way too quickly. It was solid. Not awe-inspiringly different awesome, but very very good. (Wii)
game God of War 3
I'm embarassed to admit how much time I spent on this when I should have been doing other things. (PS3)

READING
_
book The Hunger Games
Suzanne Collins
A trilogy of books likely for teenage girls. I love 'em. Think Twilight mixed with Harry Potter. (Also: great on audiobook, soon to be a major motion picture)
book See A Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody
Bob Mould
Just cracking this one open.
book The Help
Kathryn Stockett
Just finished reading this. Very enjoable, didn't hit all the notes I would have liked, but the story was good.
book I subscribed to Playboy for the articles, but I can't really read it. The design is horrendous.
